Anneli is now retired. CKC and AKC registered.
Health clearances: Anneli is our reward for having had the two extremes in dogs - Smudge was very headstrong, and Cobi was very hard to motivate. Anneli is very up all the time, and always moves around busily. She is very sweet and loving, and asks for nothing better than to be with her pack. Anneli is also our first show dog. We have been in performace sports for over 13 years, but had never tried our hand at conformation. With the help and guidance of Eve Menegoz (Sennenhof Reg'd Bernese Mountain Dogs), we started showing Anneli. She was first shown at 8.5 months, and took Best Puppy in Breed. We also do obedience and agility with her. At just over 1 year of age, Anneli took Reserve Bitch at the Regional Specialty of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Quebec. Six months later, we went to the National Specialty of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, held in beautiful Gettysburg, PA. There were more than 950 Berners there! And, much to our surprise, Anneli won her class (Novice Conformation)! It was the icing on the cake. Anneli completed both her Championship and her Companion Dog (CD) obedience title (with a first place and a score of 193!) in 2006. Anneli spent the summer of 2007 first raising her "B" litter, then in Agility, which she loves. Climbing A-frames and dog walks is a piece of cake - after all, Bernese ARE mountain dogs! She also mastered the see-saw, one of the hardest things for large dogs. See our photos page for pictures of Anneli in agility. Litter "C" was born in 2008. Now, after three litters, Anneli is retired. She spends her time relaxing, going to obedience classes (Open) and working in agility, which she absolutely loves! |

 BAERGLI ANDRA, CDBorn November 12, 2005 CH Sennenhof Beno V Beatus, CD, DD x CH Sennenhof Anneli V Berghaus, CD Andra (pictured here at 2.5 years) loves life, people, toys, other dogs ..... Like her mother, she is a very "busy" dog, always investigating. Her first time in the ring, at the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario's 2006 Specialty, she placed 3rd in Junior Puppy Female! One month later, she won her class at the Club Quebecois du Bouvier Bernois Specialty in Trois-Rivières. In July 2006, Andra, 7.5-months old and still in the Junior Puppy Class, took Reserve Winners Bitch, coming 2nd to her mother and beating an adult female! Her brother Axel also took Reserve, beating an adult male! Later in the summer, Andie took Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed, picking up her first 3 points towards her Championship. One month later, at 9.5 months, she took Best Puppy in Breed four days in a row, topping it off by also taking Best of Breed on the last day for another 2 points! Andra is also being trained in Obedience; she obtained her CD (Companion Dog) title in April 2007 and is now working towards her CDX. Andra is doing many things that she certainly did not learn from her mother. We are certain that Smudge downloaded information into her in the 3 months that they had together before we lost Smudge! There is no other explanation! |

Bekka joined our household mid-May of 2008. She flew over from Germany with her brother Boss. The puppies arrived safe and sound, as if they had not just endured a long flight. Bekka has a wonderful temperament and is very easy going and playful. She is working in obedience (Novice). Bekka was been bred early in 2011 and had a lovely litter of 8 pups, now all gone to their new homes (photos and our PLOG - Puppy Blog - are still available via the Nursery page). All going well, Bekka will be bred again in a year. |
